I'm losing the compatible rhyme
He's purposely trying to steal my time
The nouns, adverbs and adjectives,
disappearing objectives
Every writer knows, being blocked
Inner vocabulary, unstocked
As a special guest, you'd never know,
he hides ugly, putting on a show
Stoking ego at every turn
Watch out, his needs and wants can't learn,
cuz they're selfish and without mercy
A greed that craves to be thirsty
He's been trying to kill my words
Even if I leave, they'll fly like birds
Tripping me up in daily prose
Snatching hopes and dreams when I dare doze
Relentless in his unfair chase
Trapped, in the hamster wheel race
Reaching within, to shatter,
all that really does matter
Vicious jealousy plays cruel
Putting me through the hard-knock-school
Bullied, pushed down, put on blast,
treated like a damn outcast
