Canadian wildfire smoke
billows down to us, no joke
More than 13 States, breathe-choke
singed irritants, in the eyes, poke
For God's sakes, is there a flamethrower?
A pyromaniac sower?
Charcoal gray skies, tinted ochre
Snap, crackle, wood burning odor
VOCs,* PAHs,* benzene stoners
Carbon monoxide misnomers
Maple leaf, step up your flyovers!
Please, more Phos-Chek disposers!
Spray forests faster, not slower
Arsonist's chapter needs closure
Round up evil nature loathers
Criminal, no respect posers
Stop the fiery interlopers
Migraines, asthma attack donors
The poor woodland creatures smolder
Tragedies torch, wounds us knowers
Smoke plumes are traveling closer
This toxic soup sinks much lower
Seeps through cracks, this smog cajoler
The house succumbs to exposure
A stealth attack while it scopes
The acrid air gropes nose and throat
Floats where it wants, gleefully gloats
Indoors becomes a safety hoax
