Floating on a fleecy, opalescent cloud
Yanked from tranquility, arguing neighbors loud
Out for a vigorous run, my eclipsed soul goes
An acrid, putrid smell crawls up the itchy nose

Clouds of smoke spiral into a sullen sky
Toxic pollution is at an all-time-high
The day casts shadows, that the fog pulls away
How much can be crammed in stress's dossier?

Billowy cotton clouds drift in a puddle
Till broken by a raindrop, that fell so subtle
Heavy heart weary, has become overcast
Only grace with sunshine can make it outlast

Undefined gray clouds rest in the backyard pond
A frothed, white cream cloud forms a coffee cup topper bond
Despite it all, I've declared this day one, where I am fond
Get lost contention, I'm waving my magic wand
