As the year 2019 drew to its close I met the Dutch artist Dini Thomsen, who was in a thoughtful mood. She started her career as a painter, but expressed her thoughts in later life in installations that often had large proportions. Most of them required a lot of physical effort. At 76 of age she felt tired and not quite up to the task anymore. It is already 5 years ago that I took this picture, after an hour of listening.

So much to do, so much to show / but lacking is the strength
Confessing to yourself one needs / a sympathetic ear
She passed away on May 28, 2021.
